Weird how surface temperatures are above freezing from the coast all the way up to the Jackson MS area, especially with subfreezing temps so close to the ground.
It’s odd… what’s on the ground here is melting while more snow falls.
Edit: It’s a drizzle now.
The big snow we had Dec11, 2008 was also an upper level low and it was just like that. Never got to freezing.... Snowed its icycle-butt off all morning so hard it collected despite the melting.....once the upper air energy moved away, a bit of drizzle.....
