SEVERE WEATHER THREAT 2-16 to 2-17

Looking at a windfield map, South Central St Tammany (Mandeville-Covington and surrounds) is markedly less windy than elsewhere.

That may just be how PWSs are located.

Reed Timmer is banking on the northern end of those going tornadic as they get into the higher shear values in Mississippi.  

So the combination of 20+ mph winds, roads juuuuust wet enough to mix with all the oil that's been building up over the past few weeks, and pulling a 35ft trailer made for a very interesting day at work today lol

I have actually heard my roof 'lift' a few times....meaning there was enough wind under my roof-installed solar panels to put enough upwards force to remove enough weight burden to hear the wood creak a bit.
