At some point the models will become more fixed on a location. Have not seen this yet.

Should start to get some good data at this point forward from the Air Force Hurricane Hunter currently in the storm. Looking forward to seeing future model runs with data from the two aircrafts input.

Appears to me any dry air that was getting entrained has washed out. 🤷‍♂️

968mb and 100kts on first pass by recon. This is a major hurricane.

This is rapid intensification.

Yep…officially historic! One for the record books. First major to form prior to July 1st in this area of the Atlantic. Not sure of other areas. Please correct me if this is wrong.
