To Bayou Medics point, what perhaps we need to watch for here in the Southeast, LA is what Kory alluded to yesterday. Sometimes when developing storms are sheared, they tend to (or may) relocate their center under the deeper convection. If the developing system is being sheared from the southwest to the northeast and there are, indeed, center relocations during its' trek northward (generally speaking) then a track a tad further east may not be out of the question, in my opinion.
