I worry about all of those 55+ communities that have the mobile type trailers in the them. My Dad’s community is about a mile from the bay in Palmetto. The papers are supposed to be signed tomorrow on the sale of the house. I’m very worried about his friends in the community. I hope the other communities like this are able to evacuate. There are many elderly who are afraid to get on the road and travel especially if they don’t have a partner.

Hope they have busses or some way to get them to a safer place away from the surge. If my elderly parents lived there I would be physically getting them in my car and taking them. I keep thinking about the comment left on Zack’s fb page about someone’s sister in Fort Myers refusing to leave.

I’m in the dead center of the state between the east and west coast. I’m still debating if I should just head out. I’d be going to New Orleans but work might reopen on Friday depending on power(I’m a teacher).
