I wish the local TV stations would turn off the ads on the websites. They still have ads before you watch a video, this is not the time to have ads with people having limited access due to lack of power or internet.

Has anyone seen any updates or reports on any flooding in Metairie or Kenner from canals overflowing? I know Dylan mentioned something about overflowing and high canals earlier, but I haven't seen any updates. I know the rain has slacked for a bit here now. So, I'm hoping this will give the pumps time to work to get the canals down. I'm just curious if anyone has seen or heard anything about this issue lately. Anyone?
I just spoke to a friend that lives off of lafranier and she said the street was flooded, but not up to the house. She was one of the only houses that took 4ft of water during Katrina. I will try to get a more specific location for you.
Flooding and rescue mission taking place I lewisberg estates in mandeville. Via st Tammany parish Facebook. Water has also reached Monroe street from lakeshore drive. 6p-6a curfew
