Where are you seeing the HRRR show mid 30s all day tomorrow in BR? I see it showing it get to the low 40s.

HRRR shows a high of 42° for BR tomorrow.

Had to walk away from here for a while. Couldn’t take the mental model pain anymore. I needed a diversion. So I went to the grocery and jumped the meat counter when the butcher went to pee. Stuck my right arm into the meat grinder and....my head is still worse! In a panic now, I stuffed the nub in a sausage casing grabbed some tequila and made it back home. Head still worse but hey, I’m left handed and catching on fast!
Seriously, Texas is going to be a mess. Healthcare workers have been pushed to the brink and many will not be able to leave or get to work. Nothing nice. And hundreds of other industries also.

Just for the heck of it, I compared the HRRR for tomorrow with the high the NWS Mobile has for me. The NWS says 59. Warmest I saw on the HRRR was 51. Not a big difference, but still a bit cooler at least

The temp at Baton Rouge dropped from 45 to 42 in just the last hour and 42 is suppose to be the lowest BR gets.  New Roads which is not that far NW of BR is down to 39 so it seems that the low of 42 in BR will be busted...  This artic intrusion is over performing all of the long term models.  Glad the short term models are getting in the window of the main event for Monday and Tuesday.
