Thanks to Sky for opening up a separate Fall thread from general weather or winter. I know we don't really get 4 seasons down here, but at least we can pretend.
Anyway this is the time of year with football starting that I can actively look forward to the change in weather with fall approaching. Something about that first front that knocks down our high temps below 80 is magical to me....the first breeze that says change is here.
So while we suffer through the rest of the heat and humidity let's raise a glass to the upcoming fall!

A couple of weeks ago I was in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Copper Harbor, to be exact. It's on the very tip of the long finger that extends into Lake Superior. The weather was amazing! There was only one really warm day while I was there, but it's pretty dry up there, so nothing like a warm day here. The leaves were just beginning to turn and the nights were very cool. I miss that weather!!! Wish that I could have brought some back with me.
