The clashing of air masses is just better a little farther north. Warm gulf temps and finally dislodging the cold arctic air that built up most of the winter.
I suspect the pattern continues with way more rain and storms to our north. Same pattern we've had all year really. At least that's my guess at this point.
Will the Mississippi dynamics be there again to support large long trackers tomorrow?
Shear and especially low level winds arent as strong.
Low level lapse rates and low level CAPE are better.
So I'm thinking more severe weather reports for southern Mississippi vs long track EF3+s. Haven't done a deep model dice though so I might be missing some details.

THANKS. A couple of us may head that way this week for the relief effort. Particularly Bassfield as I have been there numerous times. Not a sightseeing tour. My diesel 4wd , chainsaws, tools, and corona garb. Some of the nicest people in the world there.
So I am located in kokomo, ms between mccomb and Columbia. The huge tornado last week was only 12 miles from where I am. I even rode out and took some pictures of the damage to trees. How worried should I be for me and my family for tomorrow?

You are in the same level warning as last week. There probably won't be the same dynamics but can't tell for sure. I would absolutely have a plan in place and/or a place to go. Weather comes in patterns and there will be severe again tmrw. I would constantly be listening to officials and media outlets all day tmrw. The good thing is tornado warnings are given earlier and earlier as technology improves. Most people will have time to take immediate pre planned action. Severe weather is complicated and may not be as bad or occur further north.I personally would take tmrw as serious as last Sunday.

Just had a storm move into Gonzales with pea to nickel size hail, maybe a few larger pieces mixed in for a few minutes.. Started accumulating until the rain mixed it out but was coming down pretty good. Took some pics but have no idea how to upload them here.
