My daughter and I thought the back end rain was missing the radar range. Turns out no rain! I changed the radar to show wind speed instead. It was more realistic to what we are hearing outside. (Patterson)

And I thought the winds were dying down in Thibodaux because in bed now and can’t hear them anymore. We briefly lost power about an hour ago but lasted like 30 seconds and came back on.

Estimated two hour repair, power back on in about 1:45. Not bad at all!

My son just called from Lafayette. He had to drive home from work just now. I’ve been a nervous wreck but he is safe now. He said most of Lafayette had no power. Trees blocking roads had to use parking lots to get around them and turn around a couple of times. Lots of billboards were only frames.
