As much as I don’t want to get hit, I am also praying that this doesn’t get shifted far enough west to affect Lake Charles. Some are barely even getting power back and things are still bad

Thanks NDG - not sure I am following. Wouldn't this trend be better for SELA but worse for SWLA? And everyone, I am not wishing bad fortune on others simply because I am saying it would be better for SELA - wanted to get that out there before someone took it the wrong way. I live in NOLA and am trying to wrap my head around effects in the city.

The Euro ensembles have west biased, so in another words this would mean that in reality a track would be much closer to SE LA than what the ensembles show at this time.

I’d say, by those runs, it is a safe bet Louisiana is going to get hit pretty hard once again. Probably the two most intense Hurricanes of the season, will have made landfall along the Louisiana coast. Go figure.
