Luv David but u have a real good point. I think what happened with Bruce earlier is the animation was not zoomed and went through hours in 2 seconds. The second presentation was up close and stopped at the forecast heaviest precipitation time for tomorrow. Hopefully David never totally morphs from scientist to goofy tv personality. FOX 8 really suffered through that for years before “ Mr never can get the graphics clicker to work” retired thankfully.

I have to say, my favorite two FOX 8 mets are Shelby and Zack.

I like them all at FOX 8 but watch Shelby the least. Years ago David and some of the FOX 8 staff were at the Home n Garden Show. I have an older physician friend who was ill at the time and we watched David every morning at work. I told David this and on the spot he made a quick funny video referencing anesthesia for my friend. My buddy loved it. David is a good man. Just hope he doesn’t loose credibility to popularity.

As with so many of our forecasts for the area, prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Fortunately my subdivision doesn't flood. I know we can count on folks here to give real time flood reports for their area as it is happening. In the meantime..........enjoy the lovely Monday!

There isn't much of a way to know where the training will set up....I believe the models consistently paint that it will happen....we'll have to just wait to see how it plays out in real time.....
12z EURO shifted a little to the east with the primary training, giving New Orleans to Gulfport the threat of nearly a foot of rain by Thursday afternoon.
It'll be very critical to where the boundary stalls and where the flow sets up. Literally a few miles could mean all the difference between just a couple inches or a major flood event.

I'd say that is a most reasonable approach. Unfortunately we're probably not going to know how severely this impacts our area until it actually impacts our area. I know that is very profound.
