I just don’t know what’s going on with intensity lately. I know there’s the back and forth about putting too much info out to people but in a case like this it will be devastating. I’m very curious to see what the final winds are. Truly a sad day for folks in the areas that will be affected. My heart goes out to them.

I know not near as impressive of what’s going on or will happen in Florida, but I went over by Mobile Bay after getting off work. My workplace is basically right by the bay. Went to a park. These are the outer fringes of Helene’s clouds:

I can’t begin to wonder what Atlanta will look like come morning. The power outages will be stunning I would think. My gut says night will unfortunately bring out the worst in some people.
