I see people live on TikTok streaming preaching for people to leave etc., and they (fools) are staying directly in the path. Tell me how that makes sense! They need to get a red permanent Sharpie and mark themselves with their name, SS#, and next living person’s cell number. Makes zero sense. Pure stupidity and possibly creates more problems for search and rescue teams unnecessarily.

Friend of mine in her 50s with husband and kids. Maternal money and she is unfortunately on the spectrum. Just moved from NOLA to Bradenton Beach Florida one month ago. House is only 8 feet above sea level and they just saw 4ft with Helene. Single story house with tile roof and boat dock on the water etc. They absolutely refuse to leave the house. Just baffling. Family has washed their hands of the situation. She has been very difficult for years.I bet they will have an interesting story on Thursday….OR NOT. Unbelievable.
