I see another potential Gulf issue. Still too much energy ( partially gyre) and some traversing moisture. Not saying major though the N Gulf can still see a major up until around October 15th. And another two weeks for the weaker ones. The action has been in the Gulf and I don’t
any reason to doubt the model hints right now. Like I said yesterday, some type of something then an immediate cool down afterward and should be done with the Gulf. Just my thoughts. We’ll see shortly. I certainly have had enough as so many others.

A little worried about that potential “last gasp” lol! Although really not funny. I want to say no more but it’s just that kind of season in my mind. It looks somewhat backloaded and the predictions for higher Gulf numbers seem to be coming to fruition. I fully want to be called out for being wrong next weekend lol!

GFS brings SELA a little rain from the first BOC wave, which would be nice. Then the main system comes NW out of the Caribbean, crosses the corner of the Yucatan, and comes close to LA as a strengthening tight cane. A weak trough yanks it NE to Pensacola immediately after. I'm rooting for some rain, but not the winds!

Totally agree. Bstelly24 just pointed out a strong front on the way in the Fall thread but I have not looked yet. My old school gut says one more (beast?) and then Fall magic hopefully to follow immediately behind.
