.SYNOPSIS...MID TO UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD OVER
THE REGION THROUGH TUESDAY. BY WEDNSEDAY...SFC HIGH PRESSURE WILL
BUILD OVER THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC AND HOLD THRU THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL
MAINTAIN A GENERAL DRY AND STABLE WEATHER PATTERN OVER THE
NORTHEAST CARIBBEAN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. A WEAK TROUGH WILL
MOVE WELL NORTH OF THE AREA BY MID WEEK.

.DISCUSSION...RIDGE ALOFT WILL REMAIN AS THE MAIN WEATHER FEATURE
FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS...PROVIDING SUBSIDENCE INVERSION OVER
THE REGION. HOWEVER...EAST TO SOUTHEAST LOW LEVEL WINDS ARE
EXPECTED THRU TUESDAY RESULTING IN MOISTURE ADVECTION AND WARM
TEMPERATURES ESPECIALLY ON TUESDAY. SCATTERED SHOWER ACTIVITY IS
EXPECTED OVER THE INTERIOR AND NORTHWESTERN SECTIONS OF PUERTO
RICO THIS AFTERNOON AND TUESDAY AFTERNOON. MID LEVEL DRYING IS
EXPECTED TUESDAY NIGHT THRU THURSDAY EVENING. A WEAK SFC TROUGH
WILL MOVE OVER THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC BETWEEN WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY BUT
MAIN ENERGY WILL REMAIN FAR NORTH...ONLY FRAGMENTED PATCHES OF
LOW LEVEL CLOUDINESS AND LIGHT PASSING SHOWERS EMBEDDED WITH THE
TRADE WINDS ARE EXPECTED THRU THE END OF THE WEEK ACROSS THE
FORECAST AREA.
