Looks like a little outflow helped get it going here. Thunder n lightning n moderate rain. I said this a few days ago. This southeastern springtime has been violent in the central and northern parts of LA, AL, Miss n GA plus others. Literally bone dry I-10 south. I’m seeing cloud formations I’ve never seen before. I fly my plane. I look at the clouds everyday and ask myself would I go up today. Puts a quick smile on my face for a few moments. This spring reminds me a bit of 2005. The wind just never seemed to abate for more than a day. We tried to dive offshore three times in June when the forecast was for 1-2 ft seas and under 10mph winds. Every time it was 15mph and 4ft seas. I exercise on the levee everyday. I cannot recall two days in a row this winter n spring when the wind was absent. What happened to those 3 day evenings after a front when the winds ceased right before dark? Am I a little Covid crazy right now lol!? We are going to pay for this soon in the form of heavy rain if not a bout of severe. If we go into June still in a drought I can guarantee we’ll see some type of weak tropical headaches. Please don’t grade this on a true scientific scale lol. But I am a guy who has loved the weather everyday since I was a child a half century ago lol! Raining it’s ass off right now finally. Davis weather station says rain rate of 3.75 per hour right now.

I don't think it'll be much of an issue, but just watch the temps and dew points come tomorrow morning. The models I looked at earlier had us low 70s for both temp and dew point. Lower than that? Less potential
