The line is moving through Thibodaux, it’s like a tropical storm right now, high winds, heavy rain! Plenty of lightning I woke up to what sounded like hail hitting the windows . It’s ruff out right now.

We got some good storms passing through Brusly around 5:00 this morning. Heavy rain, wind, hail, and the light show was incredible! It knocked our power out, and they got it back on around 10. It probably rained in varying degrees of intensity for a good three hours here. And now it's kind of cold. I don't think we'll need our AC today.
I got 3.3" combined between the two storms. That's more rain than I've got in the past two months combined. No rain in the forecast, and plenty of sun. I'm hoping that forecast holds. I need a mini-drought to finish my property next week.

I’m at 3.56” for the two days. It was nice to see the yard go under for a change. It’s been a long time since we’ve received that kind of rain and it was kinda nice. Now I hope it dries out fast so I can cut grass. If we could receive about an inch of rain every two weeks from now thru the end of November that would be great LOL!
