WeatherBell released their forecast to the public: March 2021 Hurricane Season Outlook
Another very active Season is in the cards, but there are some questions. The highest impacts may shift more to the east. Total numbers have to be adjusted up due to the liberal naming protocols. Named Storms: 16-22 Hurricanes: 9-13 Major Hurricanes: 3-6 ACE: 150-200
Landfalling Hurricanes: 3-6 Major Impact Landfalls: 2-4

Great article released yesterday by NOAA on Laura's storm surge, had Laura tracked a little further west as initially thought it would had been much worst of SW LA.

^^^ looks to me like still an active season but not as active as last year. Also may have more cape verde systems develop, which may well mean more out to sea.

Just read the latest outlook from Accuweather and they're expecting the Bermuda high to be weaker and further north this year. Looks like the Gulf will likely have to worry more about homebrew systems as opposed to Atlantic or Caribbean systems this year.
